Fight League Atlantic is Eastern Canada’s premier Mixed Martial Arts promotion, dedicated to serving Canadian MMA by creating meaningful opportunities for athletes and delivering an exciting, high-quality product for fans. Our mission is to showcase top Canadian talent, support fighter development and elevate the sport across the region.
Led by co-founders Derek Clarke and Jon Foster, FLA benefits from decades of combined experience: Derek brings a lifetime in sport and event operations, including running a professional grappling circuit and training as a black belt out of Pictou County Jiu Jitsu, while Jon—also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, former fighter, and longtime owner of Abhaya MMA—adds over a decade of competition management and business leadership from Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley. Together, they are committed to building an exceptional platform for athletes and fans throughout the East Coast and across Canada.
